These Terms explain the rules for using Messy Times.

Operator and agreement
Messy Times is operated personally by Tom Bourlet. By using Messy Times, you agree to these Terms. Questions can be sent to contact@messytimes.app.
Adults only
You must be at least 18 and of legal drinking age in your country or region. Do not use Messy Times where doing so would be unlawful.
Play responsibly
• Drinking alcohol is always optional. Water, soft drinks, mocktails and other alcohol-free alternatives are welcome.
• Skip any drink, prompt, question or challenge you do not want to do.
• Never pressure another player. Respect consent and personal boundaries.
• Never drink and drive. Stop playing or drinking if it is unsafe or uncomfortable.
• You remain responsible for your choices, health, surroundings and compliance with local alcohol laws.
Multiplayer conduct
You are responsible for the display names and gameplay responses you enter and for the people you invite to a room. Do not submit unlawful, threatening, abusive, discriminatory, sexually exploitative, privacy-invasive or infringing content; impersonate others; interfere with the service; or attempt unauthorised access.
Temporary room access is not a promise of private or confidential communication. Other room participants can see gameplay information needed to play. Messy Times does not currently offer public matchmaking, chat, reporting or a general moderation system.
Service availability and changes
Messy Times is a recreational service. Features may change, be suspended or be unavailable because of maintenance, connectivity or third-party services. Reasonable care will be taken, but uninterrupted or error-free availability is not promised.
Intellectual property
Messy Times, its software, visual design, branding and supplied game content belong to Tom Bourlet or the relevant licensors. You may use the service for personal, non-commercial play. These Terms do not transfer ownership or permit copying, resale, automated extraction or creation of a competing service from protected material.
Recreational information and responsibility
Game prompts are for entertainment, not medical, legal, safety or professional advice. To the extent permitted by law, Messy Times is provided without promises beyond those that cannot lawfully be excluded. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability or consumer rights that applicable law does not allow Tom to exclude.
Ending use
You may stop using Messy Times at any time. Access may be restricted where reasonably necessary to protect users, the service or legal compliance, including in response to serious misuse of Multiplayer. This does not mean that Messy Times continuously monitors player activity or provides moderation features that do not exist.
Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales have non-exclusive jurisdiction over disputes relating to these Terms. If you are a consumer, this does not deprive you of mandatory protections under the laws that apply where you live or any right you have to bring proceedings in another court that applicable law permits.
